CodeAndroid BoF session at FOSS.my 2009 - 25 Oct

In conjunction with FOSS.my 2009 annual conference event, CodeAndroid Malaysia will be having a BoF - Birds of a Feather session for Android users or developers on the 25th October 2009 at Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI) Malaysia (TPM Campus).

This is an event for Android fans, users, developers or even anyone who is interested to know what Android is.

During the event we will be sharing with you about:

  • What is Android?
  • Why use Android?
  • Where can I find Android apps?
  • How do I develop Android apps?
  • What is CodeAndroid Malaysia & how can I participate as a developer?
Do come and join us for a fun-filled session and meetup with people having the same Android feather.
If you have an Android device, bring it along and share your experience of using it or developing apps for it with us too!

If you have not register for the FOSS.my event, you can visit the registration page for more information.

Oh, by the way, did we mention that there will be some freebies to be *waved* out?

See you there!

  1. Just happened to saw our names here... Thye Chean and Ding Wen say Hi!

Space War is currently in the top 20 space arcade game for Android (or top 10, depending on which list you use) and is a huge success with close to 190,000 downloads now. So it seems that the user base is there, we are now just waiting for Google to allow us to sell apps.

For Ding Wen, he is being labeled by BBC and many others as the world youngest iPhone developer, but not many know that he is also an Android developer! And he is a Malaysian... :)

You can find Space War and Doodle Kids (and many other applications we did) in Android Market... oops, how do Malaysia Android users get the applications?
